Yamaha recently announced their new addition to the SxS stable make up. The revamped YXZ1000R, now available with the new option of clutchless paddle shift, and the new Fox X2 four way adjusting shock system.
The 2017 Yamaha YXZ1000R will be something new to the industry and something that may shake up what the other manufacturers are doing.
The all new 2017 Yamaha YXZ1000Rss model will now be available with the two transmission options, auto and an industry first 5-speed sport shift transmission with paddle shifters. Everything can now be done without the use of a clutch pedal.
The 2017 YXZ1000R SS also features Yamaha’s launch system for maximum acceleration off the line. The UTV is also capable of full throttle upshifts and automatic downshifts. Auto downshifting is a feature that returns the transmission to first gear automatically when the vehicle comes to a stop.
The Sport Shift model still comes with the same inline three-cylinder 998 cc 12-valve dual overhead cams motor that Yamaha introduced last year.
