tweaks to bring it up to date the Jimny fans should be more than happy with the new counterpart. The compact 4×4 is a stunning little off roader but with the versatility of being a well suited city car aimed at the younger end of the market.
Power is believed to be as previously from a 1.3ltr VVT petrol engine with the option of a four speed auto or five speed manual gearbox, offering RWD or 4WD in high range and 4WD in low range, all strapped to a ladder frame chassis for off road strength.

Reported additions to the face lift are 15” alloys, new seat trim, steering wheel, instrument display, twin airbags, air con, power windows and mirrors, remote locking, last but not least the addition of electronic stability control.
We are informed the new look may be more bulked up as to meet new safety requirements, so a Jimny on steroids maybe?
We will have to wait and see…
