Renault recently announced they plan to release two pickups to the market and the Duster Oroch is one of them.
The Duster Oroch is a creation of the Renault design center for Latin America in Sao Paulo. The show car’s design was inspired by the world of kite-surfing. The truck offers a spacious cabin, high ground clearance, 18-inch wheels and broad side protective mouldings.
The integrated roof rails protect the panoramic glass sunroof that allows an abundance of natural light into the cabin that improves the sense of space inside.
The vehicle is said to be aimed at the out door activity market with the current incarnation targeting kite surfers, featuring two built in action video cameras to catch the beach side action, a rack to store the surf boards and a built in dash media screen to replay your action footage from the cameras.
The interior is stylishly fitted out with a charcoal coloured trim and a neoprene styled fabric resembling wetsuit materials.
The truck is making it’s debut at the Sao Paulo Motor Show at the end of October later this year aimed at the South American market, other derivative’s may hit our shores at a later date but as yet no information has been confirmed.
