Range Rover has noted a gap in its three size vehicle line up. As we know the siblings start with the Evoke, then the large Range Rover Sport and finally the even larger Range Rover.
Talk in the wings are of a fourth model, to sit between the Evoke and the Sport models, and recent reports are to be believed JLR are not denying this fact when questioned.
The option of an all new five seat Range Rover, larger than the Evoke will appeal to many, as the popularity and demand for the marque continues to grow. Group Design Director Gerry McGovern admitted to motoring journalists earlier this year of “white space’ in the Range Rover line up enabling further opportunities for the brand.
Realistically, we think this vehicle is around two years away and will be unveiled before the Defender replacement due in 2018.
McGovern did confirm however, there will be “something special from Land Rover” at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015.
