April 2015 proved to be a strong month with sales for the Land Rover marque continuing to grow.
Discovery and Range Rover Evoke figures are both up 18% on last year and the Range Rover has grown 5%. The Discovery Sport saw 5577 units leave the showroom floor last month, which dwarfs sales of the Freelander that it replaced at the same point last year.
The largest notable increase came from the Defender up by 23%. The figures for the Defender however do fluctuate considerably due to bulk military orders and fleet upgrades for utility companies and various agencies. The bottom line; this year is the end of production; some organisations are getting orders in for vehicles before the order books close, which is expected to be around June 26th 2015.
