Kahn Design’s 6×6 concept Flying Huntsman Defender

Yesterday saw the unveiling of The Flying Huntsman, Kahn Design’s latest concept of a 6×6 based on a Defender 110 codenamed ‘Mission 1’. As we reported earlier in January on the 105 Longnose Flying Huntsman, the talk of a 6×6 “big brother”  from Kahn Design was rife.
Fitted with a 6.2 Litre, V8 engine and a six-speed automatic gearbox with tap shift control, the truck is estimated to reap 430bhp. Naturally the vehicle has been overhauled with the expected luxurius Kahn styling, suspension, brakes and chassis have all been upgraded too. The width has been increased by 15cm, the bonnet has been stretched to by 40cm to accommodate  the new power plant and there’s an extra 80cm to the rear cabin allowing the doors to be enlarged for improved access.
Full details will be revealed on the 3rd March at the Geneva Show where Kahn will be officially revealing the vehicle to the world.
