Round 4
The Freelander Challenge is a great entry level class with lower cost but still competing in the same events as the 500bhp super modified monsters.
The Freelander Challenge has two classes: production and super-production.
Production are “road legal” machines with the only modifications being those required by the MSA to ensure an acceptable level of safety. (Seats, belts, Fire extinguisher and roll cage etc.
Super Production are Freelanders that have been modified a bit more, with improved suspension etc.
The Britpart Freelander Challenge brings a level playing field to our sport. In each of the classes cars will be identical, only the skill of the driver and navigator will make the difference needed to get in the points.
The Freelander Challenge runs with the British Cross Country Championship (BCCC) and competitors will use the same route. To qualify for a Championship position you will need to complete 4 of the 6 rounds of the BCCC.
