Do the kids love the family’s 4×4, would they appreciate their own very nice detailed model that can take the rough stuff during playtime adventures?
These large scale models remind me of the old Tonka toy size trucks, although not metal the toys are constructed from a very tough plastic for serious fun.
Bruder was founded in 1926 by Paul Bruder the company initially started manufacturing toy trumpets and reeds for them. After a production stop for World War Two, manufacturing resumed after the war with a concentration on toy making which continues to the present day. The business is now run in partnership by the third generation of the Bruder family.
Bruder are now renowned quality toy manufacturers world wide especially for their 1:16 scale models. The company have just announced their new product range for September 2015, and yes they have given our little off roaders their ultimate off roader toy with the Land Rover Defender and Jeep Rubicon.
The models have working doors, bonnets, sprung axle suspension, removable rear seats, tow bar and other working/removable items dependent on the model.
The toys are huge to small hands with great attention to detail built in, made from sturdy plastic but still very robust for the most serious play time. With add on kit like trailers, mini-diggers, snowmobiles, winches, skid steers, roof racks and figures, the scenarios for adventure are limitless.
If your budding driver also likes tractors, trucks and heavy plant equipment Bruder will keep them happy for days with their other model range too.
