All those who know and love the Gaydon British Motor Heritage Centre will be happy to know it has now re-opened, with a number of significant improvements.
With over 1.1 million invested in the refurbishment of the facility, visitors can now enjoy a complete transformation, from the entrance and introductory gallery to the main museum areas, with themed sections such as movie cars, sports cars, prototypes and more.
Many vehicles are on raised plinths, with a series of Land Rovers on a small ‘mountain’ including a “pinky” and Classic over-landing Range Rover from the trans-Americas crossing. The classic 4×4 brand is well represented with other displays, it’s is not surprising, as Land Rover are neighbors to the center.
The visitors experience is now far more interactive and immersive, guests now stroll along the Time Road, with touch screens providing interactive stories behind the exhibits.
If you’re a auto lover, then you should take a day out at the museum, we guarantee you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
