Jeep … is introducing 2 Renegades to the market for 2015, the Renegade Trailhawk and the Renegade Latitude, advertised as everything you need and nothing you don’t it looks like they are sticking with the philosophy of Just Enough Essential Parts.
The overall look of the Renegades remains classic Jeep with several design features paying homage to its vintage origins
with the ‘seven slot’ grill, the removable dual sunroofs to give that open air feel and the distinctive cross in the badge and rear lights taken from the original military ‘gas’ can.
Promoting efficiency and power the Renegades come with a choice of 2 engines, the standard 1.4L Jeep Turbo MultiAir or the optional 2.4L Jeep TigerShark MultiAir2 1.4.
The 4×4 systems are also available in 2 options with the fully automatic ‘Active Drive’ or the extra tough ‘Trail Rated Active Drive Low’. A standard ‘Selec-Terrain’ traction management system for snow, sand, mud and rock and the 9-speed automatic gears box is designed to smoothly take you where ever you want to go.
Designed to comfortably carry 5 the cabin has a sculpted feel with highlights of colour, a choice of seats and technology at your fingers tips, that’s if you can drag your hands away from the heated leather steering wheel. The interior space can be altered with a choice of folding seats and a reversible adjustable cargo floor height.
